Adult ADHD Centre

Highly recommend if you have adhd. This centre has given me the hope I needed. Thank you so much for your hardwork. I got my appointment within days of scheduling, and I saw Lisa, a very knowledgeable and empathetic nurse. God bless y’all. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10

The staff were caring and attentive, and I received my diagnosis promptly. I’m feeling good to be finally getting the care I need! However, the website, questionnaire, emails and video-meeting platform are outdated and non-intuitive. The initial assessment is $300, a fee for a missed appointment $100, and to fill out the Canadian tax credit form an additional staggering $350. While more affordable access to care may just be wishful thinking on my part, such exorbitant fees should at the very least cover updated and user friendly processes.

The Nurse Practitioner I met with was wonderful, and I’m sure I’ll get a good report from the service when it’s done. The centres client services leave something to be desired, I have been emailing every other day basically for a week just asking for a receipt! And no response. I got really prompt responses setting up the appointment/sending links for payment. But I can’t get them to reply with my receipt.

Took 1 day to receive the assessment tool after paying and then I was booked immediately the next morning first thing. Staff are great and friendly. Communication over email is tricky as it took a long time to hear back regarding some questions before payment. However, after you pay and you receive the confirmation text, you should text them there as they respond there.

THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE CLINIC they have no license psychologist available. It's also a private clinic so if your doctor referred you here they are probably getting a kick back from the $300 fee. If you come with a psychologist referral they put you on a 2-year waiting list, but if you pay them they'll get you in 5 days. In response to your review, I have an email from your office stating that if I had received a psychologist referral I would be put on a 2-year waiting list. Secondly nobody in your office has a psychology degree. Someone without a psychology degree should not be diagnosing or referring somebody back to a doctor for any sort of medication. Why is a doctor referring me to a private clinic and telling me this is my absolute only option for ADHD testing in BC? I was previously diagnosed in Manitoba and this is the information I was given by the doctor upon my relocation to BC. I was later informed by BC Health they have no jurisdiction over you because you are a private clinic it was beyond them why a doctor you tell me you're the only option. On top of that, I initially saw a nurse practitioner to have my ADHD meds refilled at which point they told me they were not in a position to do this, yet upon visiting your clinic, the assessment was completed by a nurse practitioner? You could not find a psychologist anywhere in your clinic to provide the assessment. Very questionable. But I suppssise we will figure it out once we get a response from the College of Physicians. I have booked an appointment with a licensed psychologist for $245. I look forward to meeting them eager to be provided with a proper assessment by a licensed professional.
